Great Apes on Brink of Extinction     The United Nations Environment Program warns that great apes could from most of their territory within as soon as five to 10 years. Great apes include gorillas, orangutans and chimpanzees. A U.N. agency blames war and illegal killing of the animals. It also says farming, mining and other industries are destroying areas in Africa and Southeast Asia where great apes live.
