Ginger Recommended for
Motion Sickness

has long been a nuisance for some travelers, but a new study highlighted in this month's 'Health' magazine suggests that ginger may be your best bet. Unlike over-the-counter medications, ginger does not cause drowsiness or dry mouth. Unfortunately, there's not enough ginger in ginger ale to do the trick. So for best results, the researchers recommend taking ginger in capsule form, 1,000 milligrams every four to six hours. Of course, you should consult your doctor first, and read the label carefully.
